The members of the THE Alliance, Yang Ming and the Ocean Network Express members have rescheduled their service network for 2019. More than 249 vessels will be connecting 76 ports through all main continents and ports of the world.

It is expected the new services will become operational early February 2019, shortly after the Chinese New Year.  The leading  adjustments of THE Alliance network is includes a new pendulum service, to replace Far East Europe 1 service (FE1), Pacific Southwest 1 service (PS1) and Pacific Southwest 2 service (PS2), and a new Pacific Northwest 4 service (PN4), which will be offering a larger scope of direct calls across North America West Coast, Europe and Asia.

In a statement THE Alliance added that it is required to upgrade to the existing Asia-Europe network and overall optimised port-pair connections to accommodate customers’ needs of greater reliability and stability in service quality.
