Ocean Alliance extending partnership
CMA-CGM, the French mega container carrier has announced it has extended his partnership with
the Ocean Alliance shipping line members, COSCO, Evergreen and OOCL.
The Ocean Alliance is the global largest operational carrier agreement between shipping lines today.
Originally launched in 2017 for a five years period, it looks the partners have now lined up for a larger scale of cooperation.

CMA-CGM released a statement saying the 10-year duration of this partnership only two years after its launch reflects the trust and high-quality working relationship established between CMA CGM and its partners within Ocean Alliance.
Andy Tung, co-CEO of OOCL, said: “We are very proud to be rolling out a renewed set of industry-leading products in the third phase of the Ocean Alliance product line this year. “In today’s tough industry environment and volatility in the global marketplace, it is important that we are able to maintain our operational agility and move quickly to adopt to any changes in the global supply chain.”
According to CMA-CGM press release the cooperation will unlock synergies and develop an Intra-European leading brand that combines unique maritime and inland solutions
