HKIA sets new record breaking year
HKIA, Hong Kong International Airport has reported a new record breaking cargo year in 2018 with air traffic reaching 5.1 million tonnes.
Hong Kong Airport handled more than 427.500 flights reporting an increase with 1.7% in comparison with previous performances. HKIA has also seen cargo growth with 1.5% being the first global airport in history to reach more than 5 million tonnes.

December 2018 dropping volumes
Last December presented less enthusiastic figures with a cargo throughput of 5.2% year-on-year. Amid the uncertain global economic situations, both imports and exports dropped by 7% last month, resulting the decrease in overall cargo throughput.
