Lufthansa Cargo, German based European Cargo & Air leader has reported positive figures for December 2018.
Their freight capacity was reported to be 4.7% higher than in 2017 and the tonne-kilometres sold 0.4 % cent higher than the previous year. This resulted in a payload factor of 66.1%, which is 2.8% points lower.
Last year the total freight capacity was overall 4.3% higher than in 2017 and at the same time, sales increased by 0.8% for the same period. At 66.4%, the load factor was 2.3% points lower than in the previous year.
