Fraport cargo volumes went down seriously due to the strike of the Lufthansa’s flight attendant strike in November. According to the airport authorities the cargo throughput fell down with 3.6% to 195.000 tons.

3.400 flights had to be cancelled thanks to the strike resulting in a drop of 10.2% aircraft takeoffs and landings. In northern Germany at Hanover Airport, traffic volumes declined with 5%. In 2014, Fraport AG, among the world’s leading airport operators, posted profits of EUR252 million drawn on euro 2.4 billion in revenues
